Am an ex student, only because work caused me to move interstate. If they had a branch in Sydney I would have joined without hesitation.
Loved my time training in this dojo, no regrets at all.

I have tried many different martial arts schools and styles in Brisbane and so far this is the only one that meets all my needs. Practical, traditional but not pretentious. All of the instructors are excellent. Have recommended it to all my friends.

Do you ask the person to return the money or tell the person about it?
Had the person tried to return but could not reach you?
If it is a case when you ask about it and the person did not return then there is a problem on that person's part. But if you did not approach him/her and have not given this person to explain and do what is required, the fault lies partly in you.

Very down-to-earth in depth training

The previous poster must have their schools mixed up as there is no "operator" or "teacher", and they would have used the titles students of the school use, definitely not "teacher" let alone "operator"! Something a student of 5-10 years would most certainly have known!
The school is very unassuming with little interest in ego, boasting, or showing off awards. It is both weapons and open hand based, but students can do just one if they want. Instructors are patient and work with students' capabilities.
But as with most martial arts is best if you come along for a visit.

Student loaned the teacher/operator money and was not repaid.

A loyal student of many years loaned the teacher/operator money and has not been repaid.
Choose another Brisbane school where the ethics are practiced as well as taught.
Training was excellent, highly recommend this style.
Friendly dojo, no ego issues with other students or teachers.
