I have known the Founder/Master Instructor Mr Tony Burke for over twenty years and can safely say he is the best and most experienced Martial Artist I've ever learnt under or seen. His accomplishments and understanding of the Martial Arts has no equal! I have know the Instructor of the Kallangur branch Mr Dereck Murton since he was a Jnr and he has become a great exponent and Instructor. Mr Murtons class has a great family atmosphere which shows in his students and Black Belts. I would reccomend this class to anyone entering the Martial Arts as they will only improve themselves mentally and physically. Australian Unarmed Combat is a realistic style for todays society.

I have trained with the head instructor and club instructors for 9 years, under both Australian Unarmed Combat and our former association, AFTA.
The instructors are knowledgeable and utilise a training technique that demands discipline but allows an element of fun and open development.
The club have a huge family atmosphere with long term members involving new members like they've known them for years.
For practical self defence, fitness, or just for something fun to do I couldn't recommend this club more.
I'm only involved in this class for 4 weeks now and i really enjoy it, great with fitness levels and all the people involved in the classes are great, they do so much to help beginners like myself, would recommend this group to anybody looking at taking up martial arts.
