Was a student for 8-9 years. Bob is a great instructor and gets straight to the point about how to defend yourself in a violent situation. I trained a lot with Charlie and Shane and they are very good instructors as well. I achieved my black belt after about 7 years of training and was because of the great teacher l had.

Real Street Techniques taught here. Quite different from traditional classes, advanced self defence taught here.

The streets aren't safe, even your own home may not be safe! The answer is practical and effective self defence for all ages. Black Dragon offers that and more.

I'm not a member and have never really done much MA apart from some Tae Kwon Do many many years ago. My 10 year old nephew attended until sadly like many young children he lost interest and went onto other activities.....gymnastics being his latest fad. It was a bit of a shock "sparring" around with a person who attempts to use ear slaps, groin grabs and finger strikes to the eyes, especially after more by the rules type sparring which I had been subjected too......but at the end of the day and considering the violent society we have become then I guess the ends justifies the means in a real attack. By the way, he knows damn well that these type of techniques cannot be used against other children as was imparted strongly by his instructors. I would suggest this form of Kempo to anyone who wants real world reality training.

Trained for a short while and left due to health complications. I learnt more about practical "street karate" within about 2 weeks with Bob and team than when I did a more "traditional" style of Japanese karate. Some techniques not for the faint hearted but it would give you that extra edge in a nasty street confrontation.
