Bushi Kempo Ju Jitsu is a system of Self-Defence developed in the UK by Dave and Chris Hand. The system has been taught in Australia since 1992 – unlike many styles of Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Karate, Tae Known Do and Judo – Bushi Kempo is NOT competition orientated.
The art of Ju Jitsu varies with each system. Bushi Kempo is unique in so far as it adapts to the individual rather than the individual having to adapt to the art – it marries itself to an individual’s strengths and build – utilising an attacker’s speed, strength and momentum to their disadvantage.
