We teach Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method in the line of Master Chen Zhonghua, from Shandong China. Classes are lead by David Mcleary who has studies under Master Chen Zhonghua and his Senior Disciple Chen Xu as well as spending significant time training full time in China.
We teach Taijiquan as a combat art, the heath benefits of Taiji practice is an added benefit. The curriculum covers: Foundation drills/conditioning Push hands, san shou (free fighting), traditional weapons (Jian, Dao, spear, Kwando, Long pole, Flail and twin weapons), practical applications.
We different from most other Taiji Schools as we focus on being able to apply the techniques from the form and structures in the pressure of a real combat situation against and resisting opponent.
