Cheonsang-ui taekwondo was established in 2010 by Mr Terry Collins, 3rd Dan black belt, former police officer and security professional, holding a Diploma in Training and Assessment. Our club offers professional martial arts training at an affordable price in the Deception Bay and surrounding areas. We truly cater for all ages and fitness levels; with a special focus on providing activities that are stimulating and entertaining; never repetitive and boring.
We apply an 'integrated' class training approach; where students are able to participate in all activities provided, regardless of their belt level or age. This is a unique approach that is rarely applied elsewhere in the martial arts world. It gives our students an advantage of being able to learn advanced techniques from the very beginning of their martial arts training.
Cheonsang-ui Taekwondo is truly dynamic. At the core of our curriculum is the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) style traditional Korean taekwondo; with super powerful kicks unequalled by any other style. Recently, Cheonsang-ui has started the process of adding Korean swordsmanship, as part of our ever expanding curriculum.
