Be very careful when signing up with this mob. Our young son joined on the basis that if he didn't want to go ahead after a month or so, they would cancel the agreement and that would be that.
This is not what happened. Even after notifying Fusion Martial Arts in writing that my son did not wish to proceed, they kept debiting our bank account every month. Fusion Martial Arts continued to take funds from our account for a full TWO YEARS. Fusion Martial Arts may have a leg to stand on with regard to the first year as they could force the 'fine print' which states that the contract length is one year. Fusion Martial Arts don't seem to recall the verbal agreement to call it quits with no penalties, which is interesting because we have it in writing.
The second year is either gross stupidity and incompetence on the part of Fusion Martial Arts or just plain dishonesty. Con from Fusion Martial Arts has been less than helpful to deal with. He has offered, in lieu of returning the money to which they had no right in the first place, one year "free" training to any member of my family.
No, Con. We want our money back. We have bills to pay, children to send to school and the $1500 dollars you took without authority sure would come in handy right about now. However, it seems that Fusion Martial Arts would rather slug it out at VCAT. OK, then.
