I have already called their old regional manager oh didn't they say to never contact him lol? he didn't like it that manager is now the manager for the club because they had some 4th dans in the region which they pretty much moved on to other things now. he wanna simon or mark case or even darren crawford when he was alive to take over the region which didn't when to plan the way he wanna to.

its not just instructors who had left the club, there also a lot of black belt students who had left the club because they no longer have an experienced instructors for the club anymore what a shame!

GKR is still a good club and still have plenty of experience regional manager out there but unfortunately, this region has gone hill when a lot of good instructors had left the club because they no longer have an good regional manager anymore!!!

I am no longer doing karate anymore as I just had enough of it all! I have now moved on to other things now.

One of the things I don't miss about this Great karate club is being told what I can and can't do and being told to never contact their little so called regional manager as well as being stand over by these so-called instructors from that stupid club :/ A lot of good instructors had already had left this stupid club and had lost interest in the club because they are no longer have an experience high dan regional manager like they did before back in 2001. it has gone down hill since the new management took over in 2017 it's a big shame, only time will tell before more instructors will move on to other things.

and Do they care! NO! as they only care about making money!! then having experienced regional manager.

When I was doing JKA and when I ask for my grading certificate this year they just accused me of prank calling the club with no proof to back it up as well as trying to stand over me telling me what I can and can't do and telling me who I can and can't contact like I was an employer for the club WHAT A JOKE!! this is something I DO NOT MISS 100% which I have nothing to do with that stupid club anymore. I do not need anyones permission what I can and can't do . if this happens again I will just go to the police and have that stupid club charge and that will be the end of that full stop!!!

and as for that useless grading certificate they gave me after they had accused me of prank calling the club and standing over me I just ripped it up and throw it in the trash where it belongs as it's completely useless to me.

Also this new regional manager is really really bad! he never picks up his phone this is another thing I do not miss about this stupid club.

before darren crawford had passed away he had warned me about the new manager and about his bullying tactics and about how sensitive Simon is which was a shock to me.

Warning, GKR is a big joke and is a mcdojo!!!!

the only reason I stuck with gkr, because my regional manager was a 3rd dan and my branch instructors where all were 2nd dans which I was very fortunate to have them as my instructors which I did enjoy my time training with them. and they didn't make it feel like training at a big mcdojo mill! fast forward 10 years later, all my branch instructors and our regional manager included and few high-level instructors all had left GKR, because they put money before quality and left our public class to a yellow belt low-grade instructor in fact if you look at his stances and techniques is absolutely GARBAGE (PATHETIC) which did definitely felt like working at mcdonalds and I could smell big macs all over the place which I end up leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if they send him for his BLACK BELT GRADING end of this year and I bet they would hand him the BLACK BELT on a golden platter (PATHETIC)

Also, there were 4 students who were all wearing white belts and started about 4 years after me which I was a brown belt. Fast forward 3 years later they are all wearing a shining black belt with golden Embroidery which is all fake.

none of them couldn't even defend themselves if their lives depended on it

Apparently, they all had become senseis and one of them had become a regional manager which is also fake also, and running their little mcdojos and mcregions which is a BIG JOKE!!

and they don't even have qualified instructors to teach these class's lol what a joke

Ps, a few months later I found out my instructors and my regional manager and a few other ex gkr students are all training with a goju group which is a religion and a cult and they had disrespected me and my karate journey which is disgusting. thank god I have left this PATHETIC style and join a traditional style with has a very good reputation and doesn't disrespect their high-grade students.

people do your research before joining wannabe GKR.
