Kalgoorlie Karate Academy
We practice traditional Okinawan Karate and Kobudo, as opposed to the Japanese styles which came later. We are a family owned school run by a husband and wife (qualified early childhood educator specialising in children with special needs) team with over twenty years experience in multiple disciplines each.
Karate is not a sport. When practiced properly and regularly it is an effective self defence regime with additional benefits including self confidence, self discipline and improved health. We run a completely optional full contact sparring class for anyone who wishes to participate as this is the only effective way to truly practice self defence.
