Aikido is a traditional Japanese self defence art that utilises strikes, throws, take-downs, ground holds and chokes to defend against punches, kicks, grabs and attacks with sticks and knives.
The principle of aikido is to redirect the attacker's force and utilise the attacker's own aggression, force and momentum back against the aggressor.
Aikido also offers traditional Zen training for mental and spiritual awareness and development to assist with coordinating the mind body and spirit and expanding your consciousness.
