I have been a student of PDS martial arts for well over half my life now and i can safely say with the utmost confidence that the teachings are true, genuine and in the best interest of the students.The teachings and lessons that i have learned throughout my years with PDS martial arts have groomed me and have provided me with the building blocks to become a better person.I have developed life skills and tools to not only face whatever adversity awaits me within the dojo but more so out in the open world.

Starting as a shy and quiet child and progressing into adolescent and now adulthood, PDS has been my rock or pitch tent fork so to speak. It is the single most consistent aspect in my life, apart from family, of which i am grateful for in my roller coaster life.

I have gained life long friends within the Art and would highly recommend PDS martial arts to anyone who wishes to challenge themselves, learn about themselves and ultimately have fun.

So jump on the PDS roller coaster!

My two Sons and I have been members of The Pit for over 4 years now and I am honored and privileged to call it my home to study the art of martial arts which we love. We are always treated with respect and in this day and age it's a great thing to find master instructors that are not only concerned about our journey through martial arts as a sport but our journey through life as well.

I must confess I did not want to join this Martial Arts Gym-Personal Defence Studios

I did not want to be a Lean, Mean Fighting Machine.

I have been to Martial Arts Gyms before, let alone a Kickboxing class, and felt the intimidation as I have walk through the door.

But on the recommendation from a good friend and the need to lose weight that has piled on from too much good living, I attended a class.

In a word, SURPRISED

I was SURPRISED…..how well the gym was run and the welcoming atmosphere from the head instructors, Nick and Ell.

I was SURPRISED….at taking a class with the Kickboxing instructor, Jason, who not only loves to teach people, but also his helpful input during the class.

I was SURPRISED….at the students who took this class…..NO EGOS……NO INTIMIDATION, only motivated and friendly, particularly as I am an older gentleman, in a class with students half my age.

I highly recommend this Martial Arts Gym and the Kickboxing class of Jason.

Being one of your bigger person I have always had trouble with my weight, I have tried everything with no result till in the last 12 months I joined the kwon bop do classes at the PDS Not only am I enjoying the experience the learning and the discipline I have lost not only a heap of weight but for the first time I'm actually in control of it, What also is pleasing my 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter has joined me and we do it together, I also have nothing but praise for the experienced instructors, they don’t only work on my martial art skill they also work on my weight management, my children’s education and my diet, the pit is a state of the art facility to perform all of the exercise I require

My daughters and I have been members of PDS for a number of years now and we love it! The facilities are fantastic, clean & well maintained.The staff & instructors are caring and motivated, with their students best interests at heart. I work out in the gym while my children do Tae Kwon Do so it's a win for everyone! I would (and do) recommend PDS to everyone.

PDS Martial Arts has entered my life almost 3 years ago. Since then I have reached numerous amount of achievements - both mental and physical. PDS Martial Arts gave me self confidence, self establishment, self realisation and of course enormously lifted up my fitness level and provided me with life skills that i would otherwise not have. i really don't think I would be able to stick to any other sport like I am at PDS Martial Arts. You will never feel out of place and will get support from your peers and instructors at all times. If I to name a place that will best increase your fitness level or if you are after learning a new REAL Art or simply like to loose some weight, I would look no further then PDS Martial Arts. It's worth it all %100! Since I joined PDS Martial Arts Centre, I never looked back!
