Rhee Taekwondo is a traditional form of the Korean Martial Art. Introduced to Australia by its founder World Master Chong Chul Rhee in the 1960's Rhee Taekwondo is the first and considered the largest Taekwondo School in the country. World Master Rhee still travels the entire country training with all the Rhee Taekwondo instructors and their students. World Master Rhee still conducts the official grading examinations for all members.
The Pimpama Branch of Rhee Taekwondo was established by 2nd Dan Senior Instructor Sabum Nim David Elton in 2013. Sabum Nim David was officially promoted to a 2nd Dan black belt ranking by World Master Rhee and Sabum Nim David personally conducts all classes at the Pimpama Branch along with the assistance of a dedicated and experienced team of instructors and assistant instructors.
Classes consist of traditional Rhee Taekwondo Training techniques, free sparring and controlled sparring, practical self defence, focus training sessions, destruction training, fitness, flexibility and concentration training. All ages are welcome and the class currently consists of members ranging from 4 years old right through to 62. A free trial is available so take advantage of the trial period to have a go, it might just be what you'r looking for. Classes are currently Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 pm to 7 pm.
