At the Hombu Dojo; Garry O'Connor Hanshi - Judan 10th Dan, conducts formal instruction in the classic art of Okinawan karate do, humbly sharing his 55 years of continuous traditional Japanese - Ryūkyū ancestry, which he attained from the spirited training regimes set down by his Japanese - Okinawan Bujutsu masters.

Traditional Okinawan Karate Do and Jo Jutsu Class Training Times:
Tuesday and Thursday
7.00pm to 9.00pm: Adult Students - Deshi.
7.00pm to 8.00pm: Junior Students - Deshi: (8 years and above)
*Traditional Okinawan Karate Do classes are conducted two nights a week, with additional advance training available for all registered students who wish to further their Karate Do studies.
* Class sizes are orderly, and well structured for all students to spend "one on one time," with O'Connor Hanshi.
* Please note all instructors have a "teaching with children's clearance," and are internationally registered."
* We offer international registration for all members.
* Our training venue is "first class" and is the best in the area.
* International Okinawa Karate Do – Kobudo and Nihon Budo Federation Japan and the Kojo Ryu Koshinkan Okinawa - Japan.
*Our “Traditional Karate Do Classes” are aimed at teaching the qualities of an authentic martial art in a friendly, safe learning environment; where the focus is on each individual student’s potential and personal development, attaining life skills.
This all begins with introducing the student to “respect” and demonstrating respect for others, which in turn leads to “self respect” and courtesy. Traditional Okinawan martial arts are a way to gentleness and building self-esteem and character.
* We focus on teaching all students strong and founded “skilled self defense,"therefore controlling the situation of aggressive conflict.
* Our aim is to teach a high level of disciplined martial art skill, whereas the student experiences enjoyment and self confidence while participating in our Koryu; "old school of budo."
