Located in the Sutherland shire of Sydney in Sutherland PCYC, SHINBUKAN offers high quality instruction and training in self defence and a variety of Japanese martial arts. The Academy was founded in May 1978 to continue the handed down traditions of Igaryu Ninjutsu, Goju-Ryu Karate, Shintoryu Iaido and Aiki-Jujutsu. It aims to develop the arts carefully and spread them further so that a new generation may become its masters and in turn teach the next generation.
Sensei Darren Geer. Has 27 year martial arts career with the last 20 years training under Grand Master Saito. For 1 year he was a live in student (Uchideshi) of Grandmaster Saito. Currently holds the rank of Renshi Shihan in both Iga Ryu Ninjutsu and Goju Ryu Karate Do.
