Shorinjiryu Karate is a style of karate based on the Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karate school founded by Shinan Kori Hisataka (1907- 1988) in 1946 in Japan. Jim Griffin, Kyoshi 7th Dan and Max Estens, Kyoshi 7th Dan are the current Joint Chief Instructors of Shorinjiryu Koshinkai Karatedo Australia.
The Shishikan Dojo Senior Instructor is Tony Fletcher, Renshi 5th Dan operating dojos at Sunnybank (Tues 7-9 pm) and Beenleigh (Sun 6-8 pm)
