Southern Cross Martial Arts Association Inc is a registered non-profit club which is dedicated to bringing quality authentic martial arts to its students and providing open access to some of the worlds leading practitioners through our regular seminars.
We are a progressive traditional organisation and our instructor team are not only highly skilled practitioners themselves, but they also hold a variety of relevant coaching, teaching and other qualifications relating to the field.
Whilst the staff and facilities are excellent, it’s the people that make the Southern Cross Martial Arts an awesome place to train. Whether you’re looking for fun, fitness or real world self defence skills, or just something different, there is something here for everyone. We offer an ASD friendly training environment and all of our staff have been provided with specific training for working with people on the Autism Spectrum.

Little Dragons: pre-martial arts for 3 & 4 year olds.
Junior Dragons: pre-karate program for 5 to 7 year olds.
Red Dragons: karate program for 8 to 12 year olds.
Youth Karate: specialised Karate program for teenagers delivered by qualified youth workers who are also senior Karate instructors. Ages 13 to 16. These Karate classes are self defence based and a progressive traditional school utilising Okinawan Goju Ryu kata and an eclectic blend of Karate, Muay Thai, BJJ and modern combatives.
Kidz Thai Boxing: Muay Thai program for 8 to 12 year olds.
Muay Thai: Muay Thai training for ages 13 and up. Traditional Muay Thai (not a fight gym) with excellent grading curriculum.
Karate: for ages 16 and above. Karate classes are self defence based and a progressive traditional school utilising Okinawan Goju Ryu kata and an eclectic blend of Karate, Muay Thai, BJJ and modern combatives.
