Just over 2 years ago I made a change to improve my life which included my fitness. I met Kyosa Nim Rob through a mutual friend and decided to go to a session. Over 2 years later I have moved through 3 belt levels, i've become fitter, flexibility and balance I have never seen and a peace inside of myself that has helped become a way of life.

Kyosa Nim Rob has helped me become more as well as inspired me to take the next step in my journey.

Also having the lineage of Kwan Jang Nim Shin (Grand Master Shin) and the honour of his instruction, wisdom and knowledge, Tang Soo Do Moo Rim Kwan FNQ is a fun, exciting and Traditional martial art with great leadership and wonderful student who are all very accepting of all.

My 2 primary school aged girls have gained so much in the 12 months they’ve been part of this wonderful club. They have not only gained skills for self-defence but gained inner and outer strength, flexibility, self-confidence, self-awareness and so much more.

Kyosa Nim Rob is a wonderful, patient teacher and so generous with the knowledge he shares not only of the art but also with all aspects to nourish the body, mind and spirit. Classes are a mixture of fun and discipline, physical training and theoretical lessons which keeps the children interested, challenged and motivated.

Tang Soo Do has come to mean so much more than just a sport or way to keep fit. It's a way of life, belonging to a supportive community that has brought us life long friends, a new approach to health and healing, and keeping strong in body and spirit.

Kyosa Nim Rob shows both strength and humility in his teaching and it is an honour to train under his instruction.

So much more than just Martial Arts training

The quality of martial arts aspired to in this club is high and sometimes training can be quite rigorous. It's great for fitness and strength and yet other times classes are soft and gentle with aspects of Tai Chi being part of the curriculum. I love joining in the kids classes as they can be quite fun with roll mats brought out and punching pads etc.

A unique aspect of Tang Soo Do Moo Rim Kwan is that students not only learn self defence techniques but they also learn healing techniques, via casual first aid training tips and oriental therapies.
