Nam Gwon Do was founded in Tasmania by Darren Brewer following more than 35 years of martial arts study and experience.
While influenced by the knowledge gained through many years of training in various martial arts, Nam Gwon Do was created as an independent system with its own curriculum, philosophy, grading structure and original pattern set. Developed in Tasmania to empower the community.
'Nam Gwon Do' means 'Way of the Southern Fist' - A powerful close quarter orientated martial art designed for simplicity and effectiveness with the fucus on Self Defence & the development of its practitioners.
Nam Gwon Do stands as a distinct Tasmanian Martial art.
