The WA Institute Of Martial Arts

The WA Institute of Martial Arts (WAIMA) is one of Australia’s leading professional martial arts organisations. Based in Perth Western Australia, promoting self defence and fitness throughout WA since 1988.

Here you will learn from some of the best martial artists and instructors in WA, and as a WAIMA student you can study Zen Do Kai Freestyle Martial Arts and Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing). We also have an extensive Children's karate programme, and you can now have your children's birthday parties at WAIMA!

WAIMA also runs frequent one-off seminars, including women's self defence courses, guest instructor sessions and martial arts weapons training.
