Wollongong Shotokan Karate

Wollongong Shotokan Karate was established in September 2019 and follows the teachings of the legendary Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke. The club is registered with Shotokan International Australia (SKIA), a branch of Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF). SKIA is also an affiliate of the Australian Karate Federation (AKF).

The resident instructor is Sensei Amanda Baker, 3rd degree black belt, who has practiced karate for more than 20 years in Canada, Japan and Australia.

Classes run Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7:30 pm at the Wollongong PCYC. For more information, check out the club's website: https://www.wollongongkarate.com
