The Golden Knights martial arts group is one of South Australia's oldest and most established martial arts groups. Our highly trained and experienced instructors have been teaching freestyle karate in Adelaide since 1979.
Freestyle karate is a system that combines all the best components of many of the martial arts, such as karate, kung fu, judo, jiu jitsu, and mma, to create a modern, functional and practical martial art that has adapted to today's expectations.
Our popularity can be attributed to our modern and practical teaching of martial arts for self defence. Freestyle Karate is a fun way to keep fit for people of all ages and abilities. We have black belts in our classes ranging from 10 to 70 years old, and of every possible shape and size, so
there is no excuse !
Along with our comprehensive blend of 'empty hand' techniques, we also use an extensive range of weaponry, such as the sword, nunchuku, knives, and various lengths of wooden stick. We also conduct some of our classes dedicated to other weaponry styles such as Kendo, Iaido, and Bojutsu.
